This is a little off the IllStyling beaten path but I bet there’s a few of you out there who idolize gangsters.  This book is written by a founding member of one of the biggest crime syndicates in American history and it’s probably the only thing a citizen could own with an embossed deathhead on it.  This is Ralph “Sonny” Barger’s first hand account of the forming of the motorcycle club and it is a very very cool story.  You’ll definitely want to pick this one up.

These then, would be the second installment in the recently introduced SB Dunks collection.  They are the Nike SB Dunk High Ferris Bueller edition sneakers and they are fresh as hell. It seems that people only caught wind of this pair when the auction went up on eBay yesterday.  Like the Thrashin’ Dunks, the Bueller Dunks pay homage to a movie that has become an all time classic, orignaly released in 1986.  The shoes were modeled after Ferris’ outfit he wore for the movie poster which is, to say the least, iconic.  This is one of my favorite pairs of Dunks in a long time and I will be picking them up as soon as they hit the shelves in a size that I can wear.  However, if you can simply not wait, there is a sample pair on eBay right now that you could theoretically pick up for yourself.

This will be the first of a two part, recently publicized Nike SB Dunk sample release. What you’re looking at above is the Thrashin’ edition of the Nike SB Dunks. Thrashin’ was and still is a cult classic among skateboarders that was released in 1986 and starred almost nobody. Still, it was a major motion picture about skateboarding, something that hadn’t happened yet and it was a big deal to us then. These shoes attempt to bring all the Thrashin’ gave us, but in shoe form. Quite honestly, I think these kicks have mad eighties appeal and are going to be revered collectors items one day. The colours are listed as being white and chlorine blue, but I swear to god there’s some pink in that swoosh. The spider pattern on the heel counter and toe guard was taken directly from the movie poster and, in my opinion, it is what makes the shoe. There’s already a sample pair on eBay so you can literally be the first person to own this pair of shoes. Go check em out.

Normally, I don’t like to undercut the good people over at Dr. Jay’s, but consumers have the right to pay the lowest price and this is it. If you jog on over to this guy’s auction, you’ll see he’s selling both the jeans and the track jacket for an incredible price. Even at discounted prices, the jeans and the track jacket separately just can’t touch this price.

Dr Jay’s does however have the advantage when it comes to supply. They have these Jasper articles in many different colours and sizes so if it’s your cup of tea, and the auctioned pair won’t fit, go check em out.

You had better warm up to these warm ups because I’m gonna be wearing them all the time. I have never had the urge to look like such a gangster in the comfort of my own home. You can either wear these for running or whatever, if you’re into that whole 80’s sweatsuit trip, or you can rock them leisurely around the house on Sunday.
