So, these leather jackets were incredibly rare when they were available.  Now, the few jackets that actually made it to stores have been sold to very happy owners who have been storing them all season in preparation for the upcoming months.  This is your chance to catch the train that left months ago, and for less to boot.  I can attest to the quality of LRG’s leathers, they are fantastic.  I own another jacket  and although it misrepresents me as a bad-ass, it is still by far the nicest jacket ever made. Period.  This one has to be close to that, plus it’s blue.  If that turns you off, or you’d rather blend in, it’s also available in a dark brown and a black.

More of COOGI coming into their own is the “Catch the Buzz” track jacket.  They get further aways from the neon colours and go for something a little less shocking but still fresh.   The jacket looks like it’s supporting a high school basketball team themed by bumblebees.  I really like the black and yellow bumblebee striping on the collar, cuffs, and waistband.  Also, most track jackets in the urban clothing scene are made of polyester; this one however, is made of 100% cotton which is always a welcome change.  This is a fresh jacket and a welcome change for COOGI.  It is available here.

It comes as no surprise to me that LRG would team up with the likes of Forum and Special Blend as the companies all represent similar interests and styles in different niches. Today, they are bringing the niches together to create the two snowboards you see above. One is for the men’s LRG brand, the other for the ladies, always cute as hell, Luxirie brand. The Special Blend Snowboard Jacket and matching pants are pretty dope too. The outerwear is made of a special waterproof herringbone fabric that is adorned with LRG logos. I have seen the snowboards on eBay, but the snowboard jackets and pants seem to alude me.  Both the snowboards and the snowboard clothing is limited to 150 units so if you should see them on eBay, snatch em up.

I am now completely convinced that LRG can’t even stop themselves. Everybody else has tried to at least match their design prowess, but they have all fallen short. This is LRG’s latest stab at a reversible jacket and I say it’s their nicest one to date. Either way you wear this jacket, it looks fresh. On the one side, the jacket is grey cotton with black logos on the left breast and one big one on the back. The other side of the jacket is black polyester and is adorned with similar logos. Any way you choose to wear this jacket, it chooses to look dope as hell. Go pick one up for yourself.

Normally, I don’t like to undercut the good people over at Dr. Jay’s, but consumers have the right to pay the lowest price and this is it. If you jog on over to this guy’s auction, you’ll see he’s selling both the jeans and the track jacket for an incredible price. Even at discounted prices, the jeans and the track jacket separately just can’t touch this price.

Dr Jay’s does however have the advantage when it comes to supply. They have these Jasper articles in many different colours and sizes so if it’s your cup of tea, and the auctioned pair won’t fit, go check em out.

What can I say? I’m feeling the plaid this season. Seldom do I find Enyce clothing appealing. They seem to bank on the huge logos and last years street fashion to sell clothes. It works, obviously, but hopefully they continue on the path of this jacket.  It is a unique piece that is well built and looks good.  I really like the colours chosen for the plaid print.  The oranges and reds contrast really well against the base tan colour.  The pocket placement is also a high point of the jacket.  They go completely against the flow of the jacket, turning all the plaid print diagonally, but somehow, it just works.  The collar is my favorite part of the jacket though.  They pulled the collar right off of a bomber jacket and stuck it on this windbreaker.  Super cool.  You can go pick it up in your size at Dr. Jays.
