Yums Men’s Casual Shoe (what were they thinking?)

Published by Style-Fiend under Style News

Now, I may not be an artistic person, nor am I a fashion designer so I probably would not view a design the same way a designers would, but I do know ugly when I see it and these Yums Men’s Casual Shoe are ugly. I was on fisnishline.com today, browsing their directory for some new kicks and the Yums Men’s Casual Shoe were on the front page and those bright colors just stand out. Take a look for yourself,

Now I am not saying for anyone who is reading this post not to buy them, I am saying that these are ugly and quite tacky, but if ugly and tacky are your thing please do not hesitate to run to finishline.com and buy yourself a pair or two, after all they come in about 10 different colors, matter fact here’s the direct link to the page Yums Men’s Casual Shoe

Air Jordan 6 Rings

To all my Air Jordan fans out there, I hope you woke up early today and headed straight to your local store and get the new Air Jordan 6 Rings, which came out today. I really like the concept behind this one, it’s a mix or hybrid of some of the older Air Jordan sneakers. As usually Air Jordan’s usually cost around $150, which is not a bad price and you can get it from Finish Line

While you are over there at Finishline.com, check out the Olympic version of the Air Jordan that would cost you about $124.99, The Olympian Basketball Shoe

Danm, they look good!!

Ed Hardy Clothing Is Awful

Published by Style-Fiend under Style News

Ok I just don’t get it. The Ed Hardy clothing line from Christian Audigier is perhaps one of the most trendy lines I’ve seen lately and I think his shit is ugly.  The line seems to attract the biggest of doucebags who like to either pretend they have a lot of money, or either do. I almost just blogged about some of the latest threads out on this line of clothing but refrained and opted out to bitch about it instead.

I mainly have a problem with their shirts because they usually are what people buy, and they seem to have the most hideous designs on them. I’ve seen everything from pictures of bulldogs to fake diamond studded jewels littering the rainbow of colors usually used. Someone please comment and tell me why you would wear a shirt like this;

ed hardy

Honestly, what grown man would wear this? At least this shirt isn’t bejeweled! To top it all off this purple shirt costs a mere $92 USD which makes me wonder have we become that entrenched with looking good we’d pay that? The next item on my hit list is a little more reasonably priced at $78.98;

ed hardy punks not dead

Well the last time I checked punk was dead. It’s filled with teeny bopper crap that’s so far from punk it’s jumped into the pop category. If you look closely you will notice the shitty fake gems sparkling from the font which screams “Shoot me now!”

Now lets move onto the denim that makes my stomach curdle with feelings of sick. Right after I show you guys what I think is perhaps the whackest pair of jeans Dr Jays has to offer, I’ll redeem Ed Hardy with something I actually liked on their denim line. First up is the classic rhinestone litter on the back of the ass for all to see….

ed hardy jeans

The recent trend of big ass patterns on the back of jeans can either bit hit or miss, and these are a miss. Take some notes from the likes of Evisu who can somehow pull of nice big logos and designs on the back pockets. Ed Hardy…..why the rhinestones?! Now they keep it simple with their basic jeans and I like these. Simple, practicle, priced right and stylish with about any shirt and shoes you could throw together;

So I’m hoping to hear from fashion fans around the world on your thoughts about Ed Hardy…whack or not. I imagine I’m going to get flames abroad but I welcome it and encourage it. You won’t catch me dead wearing anything from this clothing line and I hope this fad dies off quickly.

mark ecko vine shirt

Mark Ecko has been bringing out threads within my style range more and more lately. As I get older I enjoy dressing a little more classy yet substain a hip urban edge. This is a new shirt among many from Ecko which looks smart and nice and light for summer. I’m also glad Mark keeps with the long sleeve appeal….I don’t know what it is about a dress shirt and short sleeves because it looks whack. You can buy this shirt for only $68 USD.

Live Mechanics Sound Strike Cargo Shorts

Published by Style-Fiend under Style News

live mehcanics sound off cargo

These sweet shorts from Live Mechanics just got ordered by me for the summer so what do you guys think? I like the simple but eye catching pattern which will go nicely with my white lounging loafers. I’m glad too see a decline in heavy and bulky jean shorts which are just no good for the heat, and they’re starting to look a little goofy. If you’re older than 25 it’s time to put away the baggy jean shorts that practically fit like pants. You can snag these shorts for only $58 USD.
